BEING A MUSIC SUPERVISOR

Music supervisors place music in media such as movies, television shows, video games, and commercials. They work with studios, musicians and their representatives to select appropriate music, and then secure the licenses to use it. The nature of the work makes being a music supervisor a high-stress job at times and a music supervisor's pay is based on a project's budget. And for this, we will just make a playlist for the Romeo and Juliet.

I chose the song "Bad Blood" because just like the Montagues and the Capulets because they are enemies which is compatible to the scene.

This where on another street of Verona, Capulet walks with Paris, a noble kinsman of the Prince. The two discuss Paris's desire to marry Capulet's daughter, Juliet. Benvolio told Romeo that the feast will be the perfect opportunity to compare Rosaline with the other beautiful women of Verona.

I chose this song called "Boyfriend" because Justin Bieber sings about what he would do if he was with the girl of his dreams. Just like Romeo wanting to be with Rosaline.

The song I chose is called "Reflection" which from Disney's movie Mulan. She is singing about how she does not want to be  what her parents want her to be. Just like Juliet's mom wants her to marry Paris. But Juliet doesn't want to marry Paris at all cost but the person she wants to marry is love of his life which is Romeo.

Romeo asked Juliet if she would like to marry him.

I choose this song for this act and scenebecause it will relate to the scene.

This scene where In an orchard at the Capulet place, Juliet waits for the Nurse to come back with a message from Romeo. Finally, the Nurse gives in and tells Juliet to run to Friar Laurence's cell (a "cell" is just a room) where Romeo is waiting to marry her.

I chose this song entitled "Love Story" because they are going through with marriage. The song is based on the Romeo and Juliet so I chose this scene because they are about to get married.

In this scene whereLady Capulet reveals the plan for Juliet to marry Paris on Thursday. Juliet refuses to marry Paris just as Capulet enters. ... The Nurse says that Romeo is banished and unlikely to return, so she should marry Paris. The Nurse tries to ease the blow by saying that Paris is better looking than Romeo anyway.

The song I chose is "Stay with me" because even though Romeo is banished they are sticking together. Juliet does not want to marry Paris but only Romeo.

That's why I want this song to be used in this scene because it suits everything in this part or scene.

This is the scene where Romeo killed Paris, drunk the poison and kissed Juliet on her coma. When Juliet woke up from her coma she saw Romeo lying beside her with an empty vial of poison. She hoped to die with the same poison and kissed Romeo on the lips. She saw a dagger which owned by Romeo and picked it up. She doesn't want to leave and she said that " O happy dagger" and then stabbed herself with it.

I chose this song because the scene is sad and dark which is compatible with each other. It explained the tragedy that happened to their ending.

ACT- FAMILY DAY 2019

   

This moment is when we arrived to the school. The person beside me is my sister and she’s the one who attended my family day. My parents of mine weren’t able to attend because, if they attend the family day they need to purchase a coupon for the food and t-shirts. And that is why I let my sister attend alone. I'm just being practical 'cause money is not something that you can pick or get everywhere but it is something you need to work hard to 

earn money. 

Our family day had variety of activities specifically dance contest, t-shirt contest and "I got it from my daddy and mommy" which means a contest betwixt a family to a family through dancing, singing, acting or anything that they could think of. 

 

This picture is when I was performing with my fellow classmate and obviously she’s trying to take picture in here. The other reason why she took a selfie is for my school purposes specifically our activity in ESP ( Emotional, Social And Physical Education). Our performance is more on dancing and just to let you know that we've won the contest and we're consistent in winning the contest. Starting grade 7 we already won the contest until now.

                                 

Lastly, this picture was taken at night and this moment we’re having our dinner while chatting to my fellow friends and classmates. And before the family day ended, we had a raffle which is given a beneficial prizes and after we had our disco.                        

Mobile and Computer games addiction

         Mobiles and computers are devices tat could help us in our daily lives but it could also help us destroy our health slowly without knowing it. Games are the applications that could entertain us and help us forget problems for a minute but playing games non-stop could lead to addiction not addiction on drugs but addiction to games. Addiction is like being obsessed with something that when somebody disturbs you, you'll get annoyed and lose your control of yourself. Mobiles and computers have radiation that could affect our health tat could lead to illnesses that will make you regret everything. Time is something that we ca't control but the only thing we can do is to manage everything cause we're not a superhuman who could handle anything.

 Who’s decision to classify game addiction as a mental disorder could negatively impact the most vulnerable in society. 

        Mobile and computer games should be blocked on weekdays especially to minor because they're easily to be tempted and they can't control their time. If this will be implemented, I'm pretty sure parents will be so happy because their children would have a time to prioritize their selves. Children must discover things about their surroundings and this is not for children only but to everyone so that all of us will be oriented and aware of the consequences of our actions. Approximately there are 5 to 10% who are mobile and computer game addicts according to (www.techaddiction.ca).Overuse of  mobile gadgets hampers student's ability  to study and sleep (www.japantimes.co.sp).

         The most at risk for computer game addiction are males because  there's a higher population of males playing games or computer games and get addicted to it (techaddiction.com). Because of this  kind of addiction, the gamer often isolates him/herself from others, ignoring more important responsibilities , and is often obsessed with obtaining higher status/ranking/achievements in his/her favorite computer game/s. Computer game addiction or mobile game addiction often leads to deterioration in family relationship. The addicted players initially deny that a problem exists, try to hide how much he/she plays, and accuse the other of trying to control his/her life. The reason that could lead to conflicts.

        In order to prevent this kind of addiction, you should have time management to do your responsibilities. Think of the consequences if you continue your habits which are not beneficial to your health and family. Being computer or mobile games addicted is not the best way to cure anxiety, depression, anger and etc. You must control it or should I say, you must have the willingness to cure those disorder not just by depending on silly mobile and computer games. If you're willing to do such thing you can achieve it without any question on your mind. It's okay to play computer games or mobiles games as long as you know your limitation and what is good for you.

Dogs are better than cats

       A dog is a man's bestfriend. Dogs are very loving and perfect housepets in our homes. Cats are also a housepets but they would just make your home a mess. Dogs are very effective in removing or relieving stress even your problem/s is big or hard to solve. They can relieve any stress with their lovely smile and joyful eyes.

       

       The first reason why dogs are better than cats are that, dogs can be also a house dogs, it helps to make our house safe. Cats are just a mess and useless. Actually there's a specific dog that is best in guarding in our house or to be partner with. Police officers own's dog named German Shepherd to sniff bombs or illegal drugs because German Shepherd has a sharp senses. Cats senses are not sharp as dogs. Cats causes accidents because from what I seen in Facebook, the boy was doing push-ups and the cat jumped on the table and television and the reason why it  fell and broke. Dogs can be easily train than cats. When the dog was trained, it could help you in your everyday life. Cats manure are very stinky and smelly than dogs, it's unpleasing and you can't concentrate something when you smell the cat's manure.

       

       The second reason why dogs are better are that, when dog is barking it's a sign that they sense something strange so you would be aware. Dogs can detect cancer, when they lick a mole or lump on your body you would know if you have cancer. Owning dog would make your heart health better, owning dog gets better sleep at night and are sick less of ten according to Cesar Milan. In our country, Philippines, filipinos own dogs than cats, approximately there are 109.8 million people who own dogs compared to 95.6 million who own cats.

       Lastly, one of the most attractive features about dogs are that, they are loyal even you scold them or do something that could hurt them physically or emotionally, they are still loyal to their owners who own them. Growing up in a house with a dog makes children less likely develop allergies over the coarse of their lives. Even if you were just a fetus when your mother lived with a dog, you are still less likely to be bothered by animals hair and dander, or to develop eczema as an adult. Dogs owners less likely suffer from depression. Having dog is beneficial because dog needs to be walked everyday in 30 minutes, while doing that you could also exercise too and the toxic in you body would be remove or release that causes diseases according to WebMD.com

       In conclusion, dogs are better than cats because based on the researched I gathered that dogs are more beneficial because they could make your life happier and less sick. Dogs maintenance are more expensive than cats but their love for you is worth it. So dogs are more lovable than cats.

        

       

The Story Of The Wonder Tree: A Reflection On Society

Introduction:

                        The story of the wonder tree is an Arabian folktale. Reading the story makes me curious because the story was told from generation to generation. The story makes me think "Why would they feel obligated to give something to their visitors?" The story started with a girl who wants to give something to their arriving visitor, but unfortunately, she doesn't have any gift because her camel died.

                     The story mentioned a sheik which according to Meriam Webster is an Arab chief, ruler, or prince/leader of a Muslim organization or group. The sheik or chief can be the leader of an army or a leader of a tribe. This story is very inspirational, especially to the youth. In addition, it also contains enlightening lessons. An Arabian tradition is to always give something to their visitors. In my own opinion and understanding, Arabians give gifts because aside from their tradition, for them, it is a sign of hospitability and generosity, which also became part of their nature.

Sheik

                           The best part of the story for me is when Zulieka weeps because she does not have anything to give to their visitor, and a kid like her is not expected to give something owing to the account that she is still incapable of earning money.

Conclusion:

                           To sum everything up on a final note,  perhaps one of the reasons why their country is well-developed and become one of those advanced countries in terms of technology is because they are not selfish and are always willing to give even if it is small. With that being said, the important lesson of this story you don't have to give something luxurious to be recognized as generous because an authentic generous being is when he gives—he smiles and does it wholeheartedly.

Nutrition Month 2017

We had our "Nutrition Month" two days ago. I expect already that we had many activities because our nutrition month is whole day like regular classes. The first activity we had is "Nutri Walk" and by wearing our visors. We wore out visors with the picture of a fruit. The fruit that we choosed is strawberry cause it was ranked as 5th of the best source of vitamin c and other vitamins and minerals and also not only it was ranked as the 5th of the best source of vitamin c but also we choosed this because it's unique and rare participants use this fruit.

After walking through the classroom, we proceed to the lobby and to cheer our section. Our section is Unity and it means working together is the best solution for all problems that we may encounter.

The next activity we had is zumba because it fits the theme "healthy diet gawin habit for life". That's why we had zumba and it also help us to remove our toxics in our body.

The two beside our P.E teacher are the choosen persons who danced well. They earned MI for being choosen. MI means "Multiple Intelligence it can help your grades to get high and also to help your failed grades to pass.

The third activity we had is "Nutri Chef" it means every section has to cooked thier planned dish and every 20 minutes they have to change their chef and also every section had 3 chef, 2 person with same section and the other 1 is the person who has a different grade.

"AFTER THE NUTRI CHEF WE HAD LUNCH BREAK"

After lunch break the section who had won the culminating nutrition month performed their jingle while the contestants are changing.

 "Mr. and Ms. Healthy is the next activity we had. The contestants wore their required costumes. They wore first their clothes with their assigned fruits that also need to judge by the judges because it's also part of the criteria.

After the contestants introduce their selves with their required clothes with assigned fruits, they changed their costumes while changing the music club members, Kelsey Araniego and Kimberlee Carreon sang a song.

The contestants wore their civilian or formal costumes. They will do modeling and after the judges choosed the 5 male and 5 female contestants the other contestants that are not destined to be called they would eliminate from the contest. The choosen contestants must answer the question that they picked.

While waiting for the result, the dance club members danced a remix song so that the judges could had a extra time to decide. 

After the result, the judges decided that Dominic Ricardo and Thesa Mayol are the Mr. and Ms. Healthy 2017.
