        Paris was chosen to choose which goddess will own the golden apple which represents as the fairest among all. The three goddesses offered something to Paris so one of them will be chosen. Aphrodite offered Paris love which he will get his love one to love him back. The other two offered Paris wisdom and power. But foolishly, he chose the offer of Aphrodite which is to be loved back by Helen, his long time love and knowing his love one has a husband which is Menelaus. Paris is decision is very selfish and impractical at the same 'cause he knows that Helen is already married but he still did it. Sometimes we must let go our love ones and not bother them anymore in a way that you could ruin relationships.

             As the Trojan War begun, Paris and Menelaus fought for Helen. The truce that suppose to bring peace with both nations was stopped by Athena. She asked one of the Trojan soldiers to shoot an arrow to Menelaus in order to destroy or break the truce. The Greek gods and goddesses have powers while the Trojan soldiers or tropes have only weapons. Obviously the Greek gods and goddesses are superior and can easily win the war. My understanding in this is that mostly of them especially who are more superior than the other abuse their power just to have fun or even kill who've done nothing at all. It just shows that they are toying the decent or innocent ones.

         After the Trojan War, Odysseus landed on the island where there's a lot of cyclops. Odysseus and his men encountered Polyphemus, a cyclops. Polyphemus blocked the cave with a big boulder and to lure Polyphemus, Odysseus gave him a wine and after Polyphemus got asleep. Odysseus and his men grab a stick with a sharp end while the edge is burning and stabbed it to the cyclops' eye. They used that opportunity to escaped from Polyphemus. If I were in the position of Odysseus, I will do the same thing as he did just to escape and not get eaten by the cyclops. In that situation you really need to be wise enough to overcome it.

 Cronus Devouring His Children

           In the story of "The Creation", in this part Cronus ate his children alive. He devoured his children 'cause he doesn't want the prophecy to happen which is he will be replace by one of his children and reign the throne. He feared to be replaced by one of his children in which you can see he is really thirsty of power and wanted to reign forever as possible. It shows that fear could lead to taking lives of innocent ones. Feeling fear is normal but don't let it eat your whole being.

Trojan War

          War is a tragic event wherein there's a winner and a loser in a battle. There are two different types of war; a war that is not lethal or should I say a friendly war, and a war that consists life and death. War is something we don't really want to happen isn't it? What I've learned from war is that, this event is sometimes or would help us to be strong and have confidence in any situations. When there's war, it pushes us to try our best to win whatever it takes just to not experience what we so-called failure. But the failure that we would experience would help us try and try until we succeed.

          Did the Trojan War really happen? This is the question that many people want to find the answer so the answer of it is no, 'cause the war did not really happen. There's no proof at all the Trojan War actually happen. The Trojan War and the events ensuing thereafter are the subject of the Iliad and the Odyssey, the two foundational epics of all Greek and, by extension, western literature. According to the Scholars that the recent excavation of the Archaeologist  that an inhabited area 9-10 times the size of the citabel making Troy a significant Bronze Age city. By the way Troy is a real city.

         
         The story somewhat helped me express or resolve my conflicts with others 'cause it taught me to think properly in making decisions especially when it's something big or could have a great impact to myself and others and possibly to the society. Sometimes in life that we need to be practical especially when we know it's something good for us. There are some things that you must decide even if it's not a big deal 'cause big problems start with the small ones. Paris decision there is selfish and impractical it's because he let his emotions control him which caused the war in the story.


         To sum up everything is that every action of a human being has an impact, it may be to you or to others. Sometimes in life, we must not let our emotions decide or else you'll regret it. Love is a powerful word that makes a human do an actions to it even it's not good or could destroy a relationship. Be sane always and remember not to let neglect small matters and also not to let your emotions eat you and do regrettable actions.

Reflection: Pakistan Earthquake Preparedness Plan

     Pakistan has a strong institutional structure to prepare for and respond to natural disasters. The earthquake in 2005 was the catalyst that resulted in the creation of the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) and initiated a conversation on setting up a formal disaster management authority and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). NDMA is the lead agency at the federal level to deal with disaster management activities. The NDMA is a huge improvement on the National Calamities (Prevention and Relief) Act of 1958 that previously governed disaster-related activities. It is also aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and focus on risk reduction. Despite these institutional improvements, competing interests remain a problem at every level, especially when it comes to the political economy of disaster relief. Mission overlap between policy making institutions also results in coordination issues and communication gaps. ERRA continues to exist despite NDMA being the federally backed body designated to lead. Recently, a Ministry of Climate Change was formed, but the issue of climate change has many overlaps with disasters and, hence, the relations between these bodies remain contentious. In short, given the frequency and intensity of recent events and the government’s institutionalized response, disaster management can certainly be considered a national and local priority. However, when it comes to disaster risk reduction, there remains a strong need for a coherent plan that would delineate the division of functions between the national and local level.

         The Pakistan’s preparation and structures for the earthquakes are very helpful in lessening the casualties and damage of a certain buildings. Pakistan is one of the most seismically active countries in the world, being crossed by several major faults. As a result, earthquakes in Pakistan occur often and destructive. The earthquakes there are mostly destructive and devastating which make people frightened and old or poorly built structures suffer considerable damage. Earthquakes are occurs anytime of the day and without knowing how strong the intensity and magnitude are. The steel bracings make us less worried because it will support the building or house to stay intact as possible which makes the steel bracings convenient.

    Both the Philippines and Pakistan has an authority and agency regarding with the Earthquake preparedness. For the country Pakistan, they are under the help of an authority which is the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority. The ERRA is in partnership with the agency, National Disaster Management Authority, in regards with Earthquake preparedness. Both the ERRA and NDMA are responsible for managing the people of Pakistan to a safe place. As for the Philippines, they have the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. This management is a working group of various government, non-government, civil sector and private sector organizations of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines established by Republic Act 10121 of 2010. The NDRRMC plans and leads the guiding activities in the field of communication, warning signals, emergency, transportation, evacuation, rescue, engineering, health and rehabilitation, public education and auxiliary services such as firefighting and the police in the country.

    In terms with calamity, both countries, the Philippines and Pakistan, has a solid structure upon being prepared when a calamity pass. They are prone to volcanology and earthquake happenings as both are located in the Alpine-Himalayan Belt, also known as the Pacific Ring of Fire. Their agency regarding with calamities are not align with proper management as their plans are turbulent. For instance, when there is a place in Philippines that is a plate boundary, there are still people living in that certain place and the agency did not do something. But as for performances, people survived with a proper management by these authorities.

    Happiness can be anything as long as you perceive it as happiness. Happiness is when your life fulfills your needs. In other words, happiness comes when you feel a sense of contentment as if life is exactly as it should be. For me, genuine happiness creates miracles: it stabilizes one's emotions, makes life much longer, creates new friendships, and may also cure depression. Happiness will always vary from person to person. However, my family, friends, and talking to God are my main sources of that, and I also think most people's happiness is the same as mine. It may be true that money doesn't buy happiness, but it's happiness that doesn't last because I also believe that true happiness comes from the memories that you've made with the people you cherish.

    The lesson that I badly need to absorb from the poem is "not to compare myself to others because it makes me bitter and discouraged." I really need to learn this because there are times when I feel insufficient. Some people will always put pressure on you to be better, despite the fact that they are unaware of how difficult it is to change and simply be appreciated by others. Even though it does not sit right for me, I always try my hardest to be better, even if I don't know what's wrong with me. They don't realize that changing oneself is emotionally and mentally torturous. But as I grow older, I have slowly learned how to start embracing my flaws and ignoring unsolicited opinions about me. Indeed, learning sometimes does require a lot of time for you to fully comprehend and realize that you cannot please everyone, no matter how hard you try.

    Honestly speaking, for me, poems do not really have such an impact on resolving my personal conflicts because I believe that the best way to resolve problems in life is through actions. Though those who understand you may encourage and motivate you that everything will be fine, aside from that, at the end of the day, it will be up to you to face your own hurdles. But "hopeful poetry" is still a factor, as it gives me light during my despair, and we always remember that action is a must. Thus, the line of poetry reads, "When life gets you down, don't sit and mope; take action, and always have hope." 

    To encapsulate everything that has been stated so far, you can either find your happiness or be your own happiness. A poem is one way to express unspoken feelings and emotions. And do not compare yourself to others, because it will just make you bitter. Stay you, be bright, and face problems optimistically.

BEING A MUSIC SUPERVISOR

Music supervisors place music in media such as movies, television shows, video games, and commercials. They work with studios, musicians and their representatives to select appropriate music, and then secure the licenses to use it. The nature of the work makes being a music supervisor a high-stress job at times and a music supervisor's pay is based on a project's budget. And for this, we will just make a playlist for the Romeo and Juliet.

I chose this song called "Boyfriend" because Justin Bieber sings about what he would do if he was with the girl of his dreams. Just like Romeo wanting to be with Rosaline.

I chose this song entitled "Love Story" because they are going through with marriage. The song is based on the Romeo and Juliet so I chose this scene because they are about to get married.

The song I chose is "Stay with me" because even though Romeo is banished they are sticking together. Juliet does not want to marry Paris but only Romeo.

This is the scene where Romeo killed Paris, drunk the poison and kissed Juliet on her coma. When Juliet woke up from her coma she saw Romeo lying beside her with an empty vial of poison. She hoped to die with the same poison and kissed Romeo on the lips. She saw a dagger which owned by Romeo and picked it up. She doesn't want to leave and she said that " O happy dagger" and then stabbed herself with it.

I chose this song because the scene is sad and dark which is compatible with each other. It explained the tragedy that happened to their ending.

ACT- FAMILY DAY 2019

   

This moment is when we arrived to the school. The person beside me is my sister and she’s the one who attended my family day. My parents of mine weren’t able to attend because, if they attend the family day they need to purchase a coupon for the food and t-shirts. And that is why I let my sister attend alone. I'm just being practical 'cause money is not something that you can pick or get everywhere but it is something you need to work hard to 

earn money. 

Our family day had variety of activities specifically dance contest, t-shirt contest and "I got it from my daddy and mommy" which means a contest betwixt a family to a family through dancing, singing, acting or anything that they could think of. 

 

This picture is when I was performing with my fellow classmate and obviously she’s trying to take picture in here. The other reason why she took a selfie is for my school purposes specifically our activity in ESP ( Emotional, Social And Physical Education). Our performance is more on dancing and just to let you know that we've won the contest and we're consistent in winning the contest. Starting grade 7 we already won the contest until now.

                                 

Lastly, this picture was taken at night and this moment we’re having our dinner while chatting to my fellow friends and classmates. And before the family day ended, we had a raffle which is given a beneficial prizes and after we had our disco.                        

Mobile and Computer games addiction

         Mobiles and computers are devices tat could help us in our daily lives but it could also help us destroy our health slowly without knowing it. Games are the applications that could entertain us and help us forget problems for a minute but playing games non-stop could lead to addiction not addiction on drugs but addiction to games. Addiction is like being obsessed with something that when somebody disturbs you, you'll get annoyed and lose your control of yourself. Mobiles and computers have radiation that could affect our health tat could lead to illnesses that will make you regret everything. Time is something that we ca't control but the only thing we can do is to manage everything cause we're not a superhuman who could handle anything.

 Who’s decision to classify game addiction as a mental disorder could negatively impact the most vulnerable in society. 

        Mobile and computer games should be blocked on weekdays especially to minor because they're easily to be tempted and they can't control their time. If this will be implemented, I'm pretty sure parents will be so happy because their children would have a time to prioritize their selves. Children must discover things about their surroundings and this is not for children only but to everyone so that all of us will be oriented and aware of the consequences of our actions. Approximately there are 5 to 10% who are mobile and computer game addicts according to (www.techaddiction.ca).Overuse of  mobile gadgets hampers student's ability  to study and sleep (www.japantimes.co.sp).

         The most at risk for computer game addiction are males because  there's a higher population of males playing games or computer games and get addicted to it (techaddiction.com). Because of this  kind of addiction, the gamer often isolates him/herself from others, ignoring more important responsibilities , and is often obsessed with obtaining higher status/ranking/achievements in his/her favorite computer game/s. Computer game addiction or mobile game addiction often leads to deterioration in family relationship. The addicted players initially deny that a problem exists, try to hide how much he/she plays, and accuse the other of trying to control his/her life. The reason that could lead to conflicts.

The internet is doing physical damage to our children who are addicted gaming and social media

        In order to prevent this kind of addiction, you should have time management to do your responsibilities. Think of the consequences if you continue your habits which are not beneficial to your health and family. Being computer or mobile games addicted is not the best way to cure anxiety, depression, anger and etc. You must control it or should I say, you must have the willingness to cure those disorder not just by depending on silly mobile and computer games. If you're willing to do such thing you can achieve it without any question on your mind. It's okay to play computer games or mobiles games as long as you know your limitation and what is good for you.

Dogs are better than cats

       A dog is a man's bestfriend. Dogs are very loving and perfect housepets in our homes. Cats are also a housepets but they would just make your home a mess. Dogs are very effective in removing or relieving stress even your problem/s is big or hard to solve. They can relieve any stress with their lovely smile and joyful eyes.

       

       The first reason why dogs are better than cats are that, dogs can be also a house dogs, it helps to make our house safe. Cats are just a mess and useless. Actually there's a specific dog that is best in guarding in our house or to be partner with. Police officers own's dog named German Shepherd to sniff bombs or illegal drugs because German Shepherd has a sharp senses. Cats senses are not sharp as dogs. Cats causes accidents because from what I seen in Facebook, the boy was doing push-ups and the cat jumped on the table and television and the reason why it  fell and broke. Dogs can be easily train than cats. When the dog was trained, it could help you in your everyday life. Cats manure are very stinky and smelly than dogs, it's unpleasing and you can't concentrate something when you smell the cat's manure.

       

       The second reason why dogs are better are that, when dog is barking it's a sign that they sense something strange so you would be aware. Dogs can detect cancer, when they lick a mole or lump on your body you would know if you have cancer. Owning dog would make your heart health better, owning dog gets better sleep at night and are sick less of ten according to Cesar Milan. In our country, Philippines, filipinos own dogs than cats, approximately there are 109.8 million people who own dogs compared to 95.6 million who own cats.

       Lastly, one of the most attractive features about dogs are that, they are loyal even you scold them or do something that could hurt them physically or emotionally, they are still loyal to their owners who own them. Growing up in a house with a dog makes children less likely develop allergies over the coarse of their lives. Even if you were just a fetus when your mother lived with a dog, you are still less likely to be bothered by animals hair and dander, or to develop eczema as an adult. Dogs owners less likely suffer from depression. Having dog is beneficial because dog needs to be walked everyday in 30 minutes, while doing that you could also exercise too and the toxic in you body would be remove or release that causes diseases according to WebMD.com

       In conclusion, dogs are better than cats because based on the researched I gathered that dogs are more beneficial because they could make your life happier and less sick. Dogs maintenance are more expensive than cats but their love for you is worth it. So dogs are more lovable than cats.
